A. Anyone can join the guild! You don’t need any special qualifications or knowledge to join. Feel free to invite family members, neighbors or other supporters of the fine arts from the community.
Q. What does the Guild Accomplish?
A. The Guild provides support for the ballet company by raising funds and community awareness/ We sponsor the 5k run, Guild luncheon, the Ballet Boutique, Clara’s Tea Party and other fundraisers.
Q. What is the money used for?
A. Since URB is a non-profit organization, our budget must be raised and spent each year. We start from scratch at the beginning of each season and raise our budget through grants, donations and ticket sales. Ticket sales only cover 15 -20% of our costs. The Guild’s donations help to pay theatre rentals, orchestra costs, costume production, and dancer scholarships.
